This week, we chose to chat with Mia Neuse, L.Ac., a licensed acupuncturist and herbalist who operates in the Montavillla neighborhood near the base of Mt. Tabor. Neuse is a graduate of the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine and a long time member of the East Portland Chamber of Commerce.
What you do on a Rain Maker Day is "company building." A Rain Maker Day is a 24-hour day in which all you are allowed to focus on is marketing and selling of your Chiropractic services. You are not allowed to work in the office, you"re not permitted to see patients, not one of that. Just marketing and practice building.

It"d just be for an hour or two and you can take your kid(s) back home alongside you. On the other hand, should you work for yourself you"ll probably be dealing with lots of folks over the telephone, or through electronic mail.
This New Year"s Eve, setting up the card table for whatever game we pick out and we"ll follow the custom of snack foods for dinner. The past few months my husband has educated the family if we get tired of the computer board games we might play with cards.
